Award-winning director and creative producer working between original and branded documentary. Driven by experimental storytelling and subversive acts of truth-telling, Cassandra made her directorial debut at Visions du Réel with TWO OVER YEARS in 2018 and won the Jury Awards at SXSW and Cinequest the following year as the director for SEND ME HOME – a short 360° documentary about one of the longest serving exonerees in U.S. history. The documentary has gone on to earn a Vimeo Staff Pick, be featured on The Atlantic and Al Jazeera and play at The New York Film Festival ‘57.

Creative producer accomplishments include PEDALING FOR PEACE, Best Documentary winner at the Brand Film Festival, PRIDE FOR EVERYONE, a Google VR/Doc campaign around LGBTQIA rights and Cannes Lion Bronze winner, and TORU a Sundance Film Festival Selection and short released by A24.

Cassandra is currently directing at CNN’s branded content studio and independently producing a feature-length documentary told from inside of a radical environmental movement.
